Hi All, This blog is for all my friends who are facing issue with low pressure in the tap, shower and faucet and all other place.
Problem:
If you are facing low pressure from your over head water tank and you don’t know the solution then you have reached right place.

Solution:
Easiest solution for above issue is installing a pressure pump.
Which kind of pressure pump we should install?:
It all depends upon number of floors, tank capacity, number of bathrooms and taps at your home.
Requirement:
Let’s take an example of 1 floor building with 2 bathrooms i.e. 2 BHK home.
For above requirement, I think 0.5 HP pressure pump will be good enough.

How to install and what are things needed for installation?
I presume that by this time you would have already bought the pressure. Now let’s discuss the installation and items needed for installation.
Items needed for installation:
- Most important part, You need to buy NRV, If you pressure pump doesn’t include (above recommended product doesn’t include NRV).It is called as non return valve and its very very important for pressure pump installation. It should be installed inbetween input and output connection of pressure pump. It stops the water flow to tank again. So when pressure pump send water then it can go tank again and then we would face problem so this NRV will protect us from that.
- Need atleast 2 T Adapter, Please refer above image.
- Then you would need few Elbows and jointers. Exact number can be explained by plumber because it all depends upon placing of pressure pump.
- A wire to provide power supply.
- Few gate walls.
Installation steps:
- Cut the output of the water tank
- add 2 T adapters and in-between T adapter install the NRV and NRV should be placed in such position that nrv cap is closed when water is going back to tank. Refer the image above or video in the vlog down.
- Add the gate wall in input and output. this we need to do incase our pressure pump is not working and we need to take it for repair.
- Now, Its simple process, Just connect the input line to input of motor and output to output line.
- Do the connection. In case of above products as they have pressure controller, for them you need to connect the pressure controller pump wire to pump and pressure controller power line to power and done.
